"This location was a great spot for a quiet weekend with an old friend and little boys. We had plenty of space and the boys slept late after doing laps on the stairs to chase paper airplanes. The boys enjoyed saying hello to the goats and cows on the property. The house was close to the Strausburg Railroad and the Train Museum, both good day trips."

"Wonderfully kind hosts, perfect property with amazing animals. Dogs, horses, pigs, chickens, geese, ducks, goats, and one very beautiful turkey named Franklin. Our favorite part about this property was how stunning it was and being surrounded by animals. This was a great find and it surpassed our expectations. Loved Gemma their Great Pyrenees/new foundland dog so kind and gentle. We enjoyed our stay and we would highly recommend staying here."

"Swallow's Rest West was just delightful, and the perfect base for our visit to Longwood Gardens. It was so creatively decorated, had all the amenities needed, and was clean and comfortable. Our host Henry was wonderful. Only thing I would have changed was having an operating window on the upper floor, to let in some fresh, cool air at night. But this was just a minor issue. I would still highly recommend this property."

Julie even same day shipped us an iron and ironing mat! I enjoyed playing Jim Croche's records in the living room while visiting with family. We used all appliances in the kitchen without a problem. "Beautiful property and very clean home. Beds were comfortable. Homemade treat left for us on arrival. Host’s house is attached to the rental which we weren’t expecting. Noise was heard through the walls. It was odd to have to request permission to utilize amenities that were listed (like the playground equipment) and the request went unanswered. Overall, nice stay."
