"My bedroom 2114 air conditioning to make a lot of noise"

"It’s been years since I last visited Campton Place (now Taj Campton Place). I have fond memories of birthdays and luncheons here, so I booked a one-night stay while in town for a friend’s birthday. Sadly, the experience was underwhelming. The lobby felt outdated, not refreshed. I was “upgraded” to an accessible room, which only meant a bigger bathroom. The room itself was dark, dreary, and had no view. The shower was broken (quickly fixed after we reported it), but the sinks drained poorly. Noise insulation was nonexistent — we were woken by slamming doors in the hallway. The saving grace was the service. Every staff member we encountered was excellent — warm, engaging, and helpful. Late checkout was granted easily, and the doorman even walked us around the corner while giving local advice. Walking around San Francisco was bittersweet. The city has changed; while there are visible improvements with police presence and street cleaning, the charm has faded. I went inside Neiman Marcus, once my favorite stop, and while the building is still stunning, the store no longer had its old glamour. Many nearby buildings were vacant, adding to the sense of decline. Overall: service shines, but the hotel feels neglected, with outdated rooms and poor soundproofing. I’d consider returning only if Taj invests in upgrades. For now, it’s a shadow of what it used to be."

"Was fine. I especially liked location since I have a knee that bothers me some. Area was flat and near attractions I was interested in. My only complaint is that the breakfast area on the weekend was super busy. Not enough seating. One of the coffee machines & one of the pancake machines was broken. Food needed to be replenished. Staff didn’t seem attentive. Much better on a week day."

"Friendly staff. Theres water spa snacks coffee available all the time. Room is clean and pillows bed are comfortable. Theres YouTube available. Toiletries deep soaking tub and strong water. Overall excellent. No AC but the fan is good already"

"My first time in San Francisco was mind blowing, and my stay at Club Quaters Hotel was an icing on the Cake! 🎂 Check-in was a breeze, I was given access 3- hours ahead of regular time at No extra cost. The front desk staff were so professional, knowledgeable and kind, John takes the award for me, making sure I got into my Uber safely, and recommended places to visit. My Room was big enough for me, I picked a Queen, microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer,iron and ironing table amongst other amenities were available. There was a convenient location for guests to refill water bottles, pick mouthwash, shower caps etc by the elevators. I experienced my 1st earthquake ever 😀, a magnitude 4.3. I was on the 7th floor, my bed rocked a few times at 2:56AM PST, it was 😎. The hotel is across from The Jay's hotel, 6 minutes walk to Chinatown, 10 minutes to North Beach or Italian Town. Everything was perfect. Other places to visit include: Golden Gate Bridge Pier 39 Alcatraz Fisherman's Wharf Lombard Street Coit Tower North Beach ( Cafe Greco) Unit Square My Yosemite, Muir woods, Napa lake Tahoe Enjoy San Francisco weather and happy people 😀"
