"We loved our stay in Apple Valley! This was our first time using VRBO. The host was very responsive and kind. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more! The updated interior was both beautiful and comfortable. I enjoyed the local artists work displayed throughout the home-such a nice touch! Plenty of extra blankets including throw blankets in the living room. Although we only stayed a weekend I miss drinking my coffee with a view of the lake. Highly recommend!"

"First of all, this place is as well-equipped as any VRBO you will see, particularly in the kitchen. Not just pots and pans and dishes but every type of gadget or small appliance you could possibly need and an entire cabinet full of spices, oil, flour, etc. We went in April to see the eclipse and other than a couple of family members not making it due to health issues, it was a near perfect trip. "We spent the weekend on a ski trip at snow trails. The home is located about 8 minutes from the slopes, so it was a great location. Emma was very responsive to questions, and the home was very clean and tidy. Watching the snow out of the back window over the field was a good way to start the morning. "We booked this lovely little home for our anniversary weekend. We have been so busy that we just wanted to go somewhere and spend time together, however we saw fit. We love the Mohican area and this was the perfect spot to unwind and spend some time by a fire, in a hot tub, down on the river floating the day away, and cozying up on the couch before bed while watching a favorite movie! Tom and Nancy are right nextdoor, so you might see them out and about tending the yard, we got to have a few...

"Cannot believe how amazing this property was. The owners were super quick to respond to all my questions. The pond in the front is so relaxing to sit in front of and that sun room was so peaceful. Very clean and safe. Just be aware: it's a dirt road and when they say secluded, they mean it- cell service may not work. Overall 10/10, would stay again!"

We played pool, walked the dirt country road, and our dog loved the fenced in yard. It's close to Mount Vernon, Kenyon College, Mohican Park, Kokosing Gap Trail, and several golf courses."
