Summary:
Enjoy this dog-friendly unit at PierView Oceanfront Condos. Shore Havin' Fun! is ready for you to bring your pup, relax, make memories with family and friends, and enjoy all that the Outer Banks has to offer!



This is a second floor (technically third, as there is pull-under parking), updated, oceanfront condo with two bedrooms, and two baths. Sleeping arrangements include a king-sized bed, queen bed and twin bed. Linens (bath towels, washcloths, sheets) are provided by an independent vendor. Beds will be made when you arrive!

Take in the breathtaking ocean views, enjoy magnificent sunrises, and soak in all the sights and sounds of ocean living while sipping your morning coffee on your spacious, 24' x 6' balcony. An in-suite washer and dryer, well-equipped kitchen, flat-screen SMART TVs, and beautiful deck furniture round out the features that will make this condo a stylish, inviting and comfortable home away from home.

Other property features include: cable, WiFi, direct beach access, outdoor grills, two outdoor pools (closed in off-season) and children's playground area. Please note that there are stairs to climb to get to the unit; however, there is a luggage lift in the building. Bringing multiple vehicles? No problem! Plenty of free parking is available with premium spots up for grabs on a first-come, first-serve basis.

There is a two-dog maximum, we can not allow cats, and we do not charge a pet fee. There is no smoking allowed in the unit. 

Shore Havin' Fun! is centrally located to many great local attractions including the beautiful Jennette's Pier, the NC Aquarium in Manteo, Jockey's Ridge, Tanger Outlet shopping, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Coquina Beach, and off-roading and fishing at Oregon Inlet. Fine and casual dining, grocery stores and much more are also close by.

Relaxing long weekend
We enjoyed our visit. The covered porch is great for the views and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked, modern, and easy to get around it. Bathrooms are nice. The caretakers of the property were helpful. This is on our permeant list of dog friendly spots.

Adorable condo with great view
We had a great stay in this beautifully updated, modern condo! We watched the sunrise over the ocean every morning from the deck, which has a fabulous view! The kitchen is well-stocked, and the property is very clean and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit!

Amazing stay!
This place was stunning! The kitchen, living room and primary bedroom was perfection! The bathroom in the primary bedroom is updated and gorgeous! The balcony was my favorite part! Waking up to daily sunrises and being able to view a huge part of the shore and down was so lovely to read a book and drink coffee too. Would definitely come back again!

Fabulous vaca with the Pup!
This space was amazing. It was super clean, cozy and comfortable for those chilly days or nights that we wanted to just relax. When we wanted to go out it was close to all the restaurants we needed. This was our pups first time at the beach and she loved it. She also loved relaxing by the fire place. Coffee with a blanket on the balcony was a great start to the day. We highly recommend this space and we will definitely be back!

No elevator
Because we were to pick up our room key at the elevator, we assumed our building would have an elevator, but it did not. We are in our seventies and my wife has knee problems, which made it very difficult to walk up 27 steep steps. We should have been informed at the time of booking that no elevator was in that building. The entry door when locked, locks not only the outside but also the inside, I think this would violate the fire code, as you would have to fumble around to unlock the door in an emergency.

Beachfront location good, that is it!
The condo location next to the beach was about the only positive experience we could agree on. When we first walked into the condo, we were overwhelmed by a musty smell for which we had to purchase air purifiers to get rid of the odors. The outlets next to each sink in the bathrooms did not work properly. We found cockroaches in our dog's water bowl that was sitting on the floor in the kitchen and on the wall in the master bedroom. The flooring in the kitchen and dining area was sticky. There was no elevator for this building which required us to carry everything up and down stairs that were narrow and slippery with the moisture coming off the ocean. Overall, our stay was not pleasant and we do not recommend to others looking for a pet friendly condo on the OBX.

Awesome OBX Experience!
We had an awesome OBX experience during our stay. Saw turtles hatch, dolphins swimming, amazing sunrises, surfing competition right within our vicinity. We even survived the winds and waves brought on by Idalia! Only complaint is that there is no elevator. That’s why I didn’t give it 5 stars overall. Would be fine for younger folks, but wore on my knees. But definitely a beautiful place to stay!!

Shore Havin' Fun was a good find on VRBO
Good location, great caretakers, updated condo, well maintained dog yard area, excellent side balcony view of ocean complete with multiple dolphin sightings. Dumb waiter helped get supplies and baggage to second level. Underground parking if you can grab a space. Near the intersection of Hwy 12 and Virginia Dare Trail with plenty of nearby restaurants and shopping.

Lovely and comfortable
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely condo. The property is pet friendly (with no additional fees like at other rental properties!), but you would never suspect it, because it was so clean and fresh upon arrival. The overall vibe was a welcoming one. I can only presume that any problems would have been handled right away, because we didn't have any! All the basics we needed were provided, so we could get right down to relaxing. Pros: great location, very clean and well maintained, super comfortable pillows and king sized bed, direct beach access, lovely open floor plan, balcony with ocean view, washer/dryer, dishwasher, nice grassy area for walking the dogs, lots of parking. There really aren't any cons to list, but just be aware that you will be walking up and down two flights of concrete steps every time you go somewhere. (There is a main elevator in the adjoining building, but it does not give you access to the section where this rental is located.) A freight elevator is available, though, so you don't have carry everything up and down the steps. They do mention this in the property description, but you don't get the full picture until you have to take your dogs out multiple times a day 🤣. At least it's good exercise! A great time was had by all!

Perfect little corner
Everything was so easy from check in to check out. Weather could have been better, but to be expected in October. Heard ocean all day, walked the beach. Not Everything was open but its the off season. Still found things to do.
