“This property is such a beautiful and unique place to stay while visiting Santa Fe. It once belonged to the poet/writer Witter Bynner. Each of the 9 rooms is themed to the writer or one of his friends. We stayed in the DH Laurence room. It was complete with some of this DH’s books, as well as many other wonderful literary works to sample either in the lovely outdoor space or the the beautiful living room. Breakfast each day was served in the lovely dining room where we had the wonderful……
“On arrival, we were told reception would be staffed upon check-in time 3-5pm, but no one was present. We even called, but none responded. All doors were locked, not the best impression as we rushed from our lunch to be there for the specific 3-5pm check-in time.
We found an envelope with our key, room name, and a small map. While helpful, the room names were not clearly marked on doors, making it slightly harder than expected to find our accommodation.
Once located, our first impressions were……
“The Pueblo Bonito Inn is superb! The staff is awesome. Brenda and Lucre were amazing. They were very hospitable, gracious, and caring. The room was very clean and well decorated. The bed was comfortable and had plenty of room. It had a small refrigerator and included complimentary water. The common areas are very clean and well-maintained. They also have a very comfortable foyer with books (and table games ). Here you can enjoy your morning beverage or the provided coffee, tea, or snacks.……
“Our stay was perfect. Very clean, quiet and it was a beautiful place to relax after walking around The Plaza. It had everything we needed. They don't have a pool but they let you use two other hotel's pools near by. We will be staying here again.”
“The breakfast and coffee is wonderful and Eddie the manager makes everyone feel so welcome. The property is close to everything while being quiet and peaceful.”
“Great location. very helpful staff but available only by text and not on the premises. There were small black ants in the bathroom and in the entry way to the room.”
