“What a wonderful stay we had in Kittery at this hotel. It’s brand new. The amenities are superb. Our room came with a king bed, a couch AND a kitchen set up with a full size refrigerator. The room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. I did request extra pillows since there were only three on the king bed. “Before I even arrived, I received a “goodbye” email — not exactly a welcoming start. Check‑in isn’t allowed until 4pm, yet the lobby closes at 5pm, which is incredibly inconvenient and not customer‑oriented. I didn’t meet a single staff member during my entire stay. The room had multiple issues from the moment I walked in. The towels appeared dirty, and what looked like blood stains on one of the pillows was completely unacceptable. “Pros - Great location to anything in the area. Staff was very good and the nice lady named Anna was the best time having breakfast. Cons - The room as soon as we walked in. The the smell that hit our nose was like no one has stayed in that room in a while. There was a area rug by the bed that has seen it's last days and needs to be replaced as soon as possible. Say the same thing for the mattress, hard sleeping on it. The room was small and the bathroom was the smallest one we ever stayed at……
