"I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. Samesun is a great place to stay! Very clean, staff is helpful and courteous, feels safe and really nice that they have off-street parking. Amenities are limited as expected, but if you're cool with just the basics you'll have a great stay :)
