"Charles, the Innkeeper is the sole attraction and reason to come back. He is friendly, engaging, helpful, and a great storyteller and host. He explained the Inn was once a stop on the Underground Railroad. He serves a great breakfast and creates a real sense of community amongst guests. Everybody talks to each other and interacts. A very friendly vibe. It is a far more pleasant experience than contentiously standing in the waffle maker line at a Hampton Inn. Will definitely come back and stay...

"Spent one night here as it was a half way point to our final destination. Quaint over 100 year old historical building. We pretty much had the place to ourselves as no one but guests stay on the property. Other guests arrived after midnight but we never saw them. Walkable distance to small downtown with several bars and restaurants. Morning breakfast was usual fare but could have been kept a little warmer. In fact since there was only the two of us, the cook should consider made to order eggs,...
