“The “marketing” photograph on Expedia was informative and true! Through the room’s window there was a beautiful view of grass in the foreground and the ocean beyond. (Even better from outside, standing on the adjacent mown grass.) The owner was friendly and helpful. It is quiet and pleasant. Nearby (a short drive) Honoka’a is a pleasant and unspoiled town with several dining choices. “The grounds and the view are great, the cabin has been partially restored. It was a very rustic kitchen set-up, but we made it work. Only real problem were ants. They could find a single grain of sugar anywhere.We named the rooster that hangs around there Hei-Hei. We also had the gecko brothers who kept sneaking into kitchen.The pond has toads in it and they sing at night, counted 6 one night. The water lily bloomed while we were there.The temp on the water heater needs to be turned up a little,……
