“The room was nice, the view was good and if you like table games, it was 10 times odds on craps. Like the fact that it was adults only, Food in the buffet and the cafe were good. Staff was friendly. Not much around the place as far as conveniences. Hotel doesn't offer any rentals, such as bikes paddle boards kayaks towels for the beach. Most of the activities are geared towards the weekend.”

“Its really nice . The bed is king size so very comfortable. But location is not good . Just nice for the long distance drive people to take the hotel.”

“Upon arriving the staff was very helpful and were even more considerate to change my mom and nieces room to a double with no issues. They were courteous and we had no trouble with staff. Even had a tasty breakfast. The only issues we had were in the room the air conditioner was leaking onto the carpet and the door didnt seem like it closed all the way. We had to tug it to close it fully. The carpet could be the reason the room smelled a bit and there were orange stains under the nightstand on……

“Good pool which was outside. Room spacious not serviced every day. Air conditioning very good. Good beds, frig and microwave. Fairly clean room. A lot of smaller insects flying about that would get into drinks during breakfast. Breakfast was ok with hot items, waffles and typical coffee, milk and juice to drink. Cereal, oat meal, grits all from packets. Bananas and apples, yogart. I noticed several apples were turning bad in bowl. The front desk staff were really good and very helpful! ……

“The hotel was dated but clean and quiet and reasonably priced. A good selection of fast food restaurants and Walmart nearby. Staff was always courteous and helpful. The only issue we weren't happy with was the bed. It was very, very hard and we both were in pain during the nights and stiff and sore each morning. Overall, a good deal for the money. The bed was our only negative experience.”

“On our way from tx to fl we stopped here due to convenience right off i-12, across from great dining options and away from big city. Very quiet and safe. Plenty of free parking. Room was fine a couple areas could be touched up but nothing major. Free breakfast with options for everyone and good coffee. Would stay here again.”

“Bed so cozy…..beautiful windows with old wavy glass. Right on a Main Street. Antique shops and restaurants walking distance. Can see the lake from the front yard a block away. I have stayed with these awesome people many times and will do so many more times. Lovely huge front porch under the oak trees with porch swings and sofas….. I’m an introvert……..peace and quiet in my room….if I feel social I just step outside and take a walk to the lake and watch the sun set from a bench under the oak……

“Very nice entry area. The halls and our room had a musty odor. The sheets did not fit the mattreses properly. So, they kept slipping off upon entering and exiting the bed”

“Great Customer Service at the front desk Due to hairs in the tub and on my sheets, 3 stars were deserved.The room service has to double check for that. Its unacceptable to enter a room and find someone's hair where you will shower and where you lay your head. There was no hot breakfast as advertised, but for the rate I was not disappointed. But I had a good night's sleep and that was the main reason for my stay. I will still return.”
