"It was a very nice stay at the library, we plan to make a return trip. place was very charming. It was nice to have a place without a TV, lots of deer and turkey to check out. Very close to town. if you walk make sure that you take the trail that's marked on the property. It's cozy with a fireplace. Windows we're very tall. At night it looked like you were sleeping under the stars."

"Excellent location in Ferndale, I could have spent the whole time watching the town. The listing had every amenity you would need, from cooking to laundry, and is absolutely gorgeously furnished. One thing I wish I knew heading in to the stay is that there is a theater (play acting not film) just two buildings down, and next time I will definitely catch a show. One thing to note - the hot water takes a minute or two, Not a concern or complaint, but just be prepared to wait almost a full minute for the shower to heat up - it's a historic building lol!"

"Ours was a one-night stay to access the Avenue of the Giants. The location was good for that. The kitchen was well-equipped. The property was secure, behind a gate. I liked having an extra half-bath and laundry onsite.However, I don't think I would stay again due to one bed that squeaked badly, no air conditioning (it was quite warm upstairs, and opening the windows brought in constant traffic noise on Highway 101 below; I resorted to the provided electric fan, which only helped a bit), and the upstairs bath with a difficult-to-access bath/shower combo (narrow and high) and no adequate surface to put toiletries. I expected more at this price point."
