“Lots of signage around the property ie don't do this or that or? Not used to that.”

“We had a great stay at Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Monticello, Iowa. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and had ample parking. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable, and the beds and pillows made for a great night's sleep. The complimentary continental breakfast was a nice way to start the morning before getting back on the road. One thing to note for future guests is that the hotel has only two floors……

“We ask to clean the room, we stay for a week we found a dirty sock under the chair and the chair cover of dog hair they never did it they clean the room one time one day before we left!”

“The tollette and bed were operational. The air conditioning was too. Other wise, the tv and most electrical appliances and outlets were not functioning.”

“I would never stay at this hotel again. The room was dirty from the moment we walked in, and it was obvious that cleanliness was not a priority. To make matters worse, there was a gas leak that the hotel appeared to be aware of but failed to properly address or disclose to guests. That was completely unacceptable and made us feel unsafe throughout our stay. The staff was also incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. “Easy and fast check in and check out. We were passing by the hotel on our way to the event we were in town for and stopped to see if we were able to check in 2 hours early. The staff said our room was available. This was a very big help for my family and greatly appreciated. Breakfast was simple but all items were good quality. Easy check out at 6:00 am.”

“Lost reservation”

“The sheets had hair in them and brown stuff. The shower was not clean. There was no microwave. The breakfast was SUPER cold. The pool was not only cold but not clean. There was water all over the pool floor and hair. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. I was not able to check in at 2:30, even though I called a day prior to arriving to ask for an early check in. The lady told me 10 minutes upon arrival but I ended up waiting over 45 minutes for a room. I ended up leaving the next day,……

“Room we're dated but clean and served it purpose of a one night stay. Breakfast was good, eggs, sausage and waffles. ”

“Mold in the shower. Broken shower head. Broken tile in the entry. We could hear every step of the guests the floor above. They obviously had a child in a 4th floor room that ran around for hours. Kids should be on the first floor if possible. The hotel had very few guests so that would not have been hard to do. Staff was not friendly at all.”

“Had a 3 night stay booked. Wanted to cancel one of the nights a week out because our plans changed. They would not allow me to cancel one night. They wanted me to cancel the whole reservation and rebook for more money. Scammers.”
