"Did a 5-nights at Los Arcos. Overall, a great option if you value location & beach over a full luxury all-inclusive. Pros: Friendly staff, amazing location, great beach, solid food Cons: Limited amenities, not fully all-inclusive, unreliable Wi-Fi, little pool shade We usually stay at 5-star resorts up north, but tried the Romantic Zone for a change—& it was worth it for the price. The hotel is smaller but has everything you need. There are 3 connected pools; hours are 10am–10pm, but you can grab chairs earlier. Shade is limited at the pool & umbrellas go quickly. The beach is the highlight—staff set up chairs & umbrellas from 7am & are attentive all day. Drink service at both the beach & pool was always quick. Food was better than expected, especially the fresh pasta/seafood station. All-inclusive only covers the buffet; other restaurants cost extra (you get 1 free dinner at Agave every 5 nights). But Plenty of great spots nearby. Wi-Fi didn’t work most of our stay, which was frustrating. The staff truly stood out—Pablo & Emilio on the beach, Omar at the bar, Filipe serving nonstop, & Silvester at the hot station all went above & beyond. Location is unbeatable—20 mins from the airport, steps from the Malecón, shops, bars, & a Saturday market. We felt very safe exploring. If you’re looking for an activity-packed, luxury all-inclusive, this probably isn’t the place. But if you want a great beach, unbeatable location, friendly staff, & freedom to explore - try it out!"

"Everything was amazing. From staff, to room, pools and food. Breakfast buffet had so many options and also lunch and dinner had many options at different restaurants and there are also many activities you can join. Great place and we highly recommend it!!"

"We found a staple in food one day, a piece of plastic in another. Staff was not concerned nor apologized. The line ups and wait times for meals were wild. Sometimes two hours to get in to eat dinners- as they don’t take reservations. Most restaurants are buffets and the food was not great. Newly renovated so that part was nice, but staff weren’t friendly & didn’t seem to care about the guests or building a repeat customer base. Overall pretty disappointing for our group. "
