“The place had a substitute cleaner we learned after calling the owner so some grace has to be given. The home really smelled up on check-in, freezer had spilled food in it, cupboards had spills down them. They sent a cleaner in the next morning. The main issue I had was a charge to me for a repair that should never have been necessary had the correct steps been taken to secure a ship's captains wheel to the wall over the kitchen table with more than hooking it over one drywall screw. “We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful home overlooking the bay, the beach and the dunes in the distance. Absolutely stunning views from all angles of the house; the pelicans dive-bombing nightly was a new site for all of us and we spent hours gazing at the horizon. The rooms were perfect for our group and everything was spotless! We were very lucky to have snagged this gem at the last minute, I see it is already booked for next year Memorial Day, or we would have booked……

“Garbage, food debris in a metal trash can that smells outside my window. I left two days early. I decided at noon after I returned from lunch because a local man started displaying stalking characteristics, which I told the owner. I was out of the room by 12:30. I was charged for full day. I can understand late check out. The lady and owner was still cleaning the rooms next to mine. It disturbed me the way the owner was ignoring her employee concern of time restraints to start a surprise……

“We rented a cabin with a kitchen and two bedrooms for six people It was not explained in the description that there would be no pots pans or kitchen utensils and we would have to pay $25 for the privilege to use some Not the kind of thing you expect when you rent a full kitchen cabin If I had known, I would have to bring everything except the kitchen sink I would’ve gone camping and save the $600 for two nights”
