Host interaction was minimal as I did not need to speak with the host until my communication about the placement of the thermostat in the basement unit we were staying in. “I and my colleague, We had a great stay at Hampton Inn Detroit/Auburn Hills-North. "I checked in at 8 pm.Room is dirty with someone’s hair on the desk and room is filled with someone else’s perfume smell. Toilet still have paper in it. The room card’s demagnetize frequently. I have to go to front desk to reactivate again and again. Happened to have my door card deactivated unfortunately around 1am while getting some ice. No one’s at the reception and no staff is around. Waited there till around 3:15am when the reception lady returned from somewhere. Definitely terrible experience."
