“Clean room”

“Thank you for having us! It was nice even on the off season. There were clean showers and bathrooms and the tent we were in had a nice space heater. The staff there were willing to accommodate us upon request and were very accommodating. I’d definitely recommend this to my friends and family! ”

“I love the furnishings in my room. The room and property are excellently maintained. Staff was very kind and nice as I was staying there while my spouse was in the nearby hospital and I locked myself out of my room due to exhaustion. The only item is that I wish the parking spots were wider as they are pretty narrow. It is a bit challenging because the lane between the parked cars and the curb is pretty narrow.”

“The room was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly! The walls in the room I had were completely bare and white with only one wall having any sort of art. The TV was in the room with the couch but there was nothing in the bedroom. The fridge wasn’t working so my food ended up going to waste by morning which was about $20-$30 worth of food. I think it absolutely is a cute spot with potential but was not worth how much I spent on the room. ”

“Well, first of all the bathroom window couldn’t be secured, so the clerk gave me a wooden board to secure the window. There was no phone in the room. The front window needs to be cleaned. Otherwise the room was fine. One big plus was the comfortable king size bed 🛌. Would I go back to stay for the price of a room. NO ”

“I was very impressed with my room and how wonderful the bed was. The bathroom was clean and the perfect size. The room might be tight for 2 people moving around, but I had access to the lawn and had a cafe table right outside my door. The coffee in my room was excellent, but it should have been free. The location was great, and I could walk downtown and down to the river. I will be back.”

“Moder, clean rooms w/jacuzzi tub and private outdoor deck. In floor heating; no noisy AC unit. Nice grounds to walk with our dog (pet friendly). Host provided outside movie and got a fire going. Hot breakfast (scrambled & sausage) plus good fruit, cottage cheese, yoghurt with usual coffee and selection of teas. Friendly staff who want to help. Property is well off the road and so peaceful. Restaurants are 5-8 mins away but parking is challenging as these are popular.”

We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high.
