“The property was beautifully decorated, it felt so welcoming. I loved the natural light through the front door & windows, as well as the bedroom rear access to the deck. Even though surrounding area/neighborhood looks a bit rundown, we felt secure at the property. The people we met during our stay were very nice. There's a little community park with swings right on the corner of the block and a family was having a birthday party on our arrival day. ”

“If I could give Jenny (the host) extra stars I would. She was incredibly helpful answering my many questions (not least the measurements of the tables in the house so I knew what size tablecloths to get!) The property is very pretty and peaceful and an easy drive to AU. Publix minutes away. We live out of state but wanted to host extended family for graduation weekend, 11 adults aged 20-81 yrs. The Pond House gave us room to spread out *and* be together--much better than separate hotel rooms....

“We were in the area visiting family and had a wonderful time! The house is cozy, comfortable, clean and well appointed. It is close to everything. We walk to downtown, walked to Church on Sunday, sat on the small porch with our coffee and just thoroughly enjoyed out time in Opelika. We loved that it is very close to Auburn!! “Our trip was so much fun! The property was beautiful and well maintained. The house was very clean and beautiful. I loved everything about it. Everything was labeled and so organized. The docks were great. Our teens loved the kayaks and the paddle boat. My son and his family stayed in the Blue Heron and loved their stay also. It was nice to have 2 houses to accommodate our family. We will definitely return next summer. I would highly recommend this cottage. ”

“Visited on my husband’s break in between turning green ceremony and AIT and it was perfect! Safe and quiet neighborhood which I was worried about! It was the perfect distance away from fort Moore but close to restaurants and shops. Host was so helpful and quick in responding! 11/10 recommend, booking again for future Columbus stays!!”
