Please read full description as Douglas Lake is a fluctuating lake and lake levels are seasonal.

Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished, 2 bedroom/2 bath house. The space is comfortable for sleeping up to 4 people. The spacious living room is furnished with couches and an entertainment center for your enjoyment. The kitchen is perfect for dining as it is equipped with a stove and a full refrigerator. The property is just minutes away from all of best attractions, and guests are sure to are sure to enjoy having the whole home to themselves.

Douglas Lake is a fluctuating lake. Its levels are controlled by the Tennessee Valley Authority. The typical off season runs from September thru Mid-April. During the off season the lake levels can drop approximately 40'. Please email your questions regarding lake accessibility during these times before booking.

Great stay at the lake

We had a amazing time, the property has great access to the lake. Its a beautiful lake that stays very quiet. A great place to get away for the week with the family, highly recommend.

Another Great Stay

Second time at this property. Made more great memories. Great views and amenities. Internet was intermittent but being on vacation, wasn't a big deal. Close enough to everything but far enough to not be distracted / frustrated with traffic.

Lake Retreat

Nice home with everything you need to enjoy a wonderful lake vacation. A little driving required to get to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, but worth it for peaceful mornings and evenings on the water.

Mini vacation

We had a nice stay at the lake house. We’re a little disappointed that the lake was completely dried up, but we had a nice walk along the bank. The games and movies were a hit with the kids! Beds were comfy. House was clean!

Long need repose.

The rental was just what we needed. Off the beaten track, and quite. The house was modest but neat, and just what we were looking for. Loved easy access to the lake and fishing.

Lakehouse near Smoky Mtns

Fully furnished 2 BR/2Bath lakefront house with private dock on a quiet cove. Close to all amenities and a short drive to the Smoky Mtns. We enjoyed fishing and taking the kayaks and paddleboat out on the lake nearly every day. Having the grill and firepit on the back deck was very nice. It was nice to see the lake from our bedroom and watch the sunrise over the lake. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The owners are very nice, responsive, and easily reached. We would recommend this for a relaxing getaway.

Fun at Douglas Lake

Had a great time at the lakehouse. Property is well stocked with most everything you need and the kayaks/ paddleboat were great for exploring the lake. Kids enjoyed swimming and we caught bass, bream and one flathead catfish. Location is away from the hustle and bustle but not too far from Pigeon Forge. Our family loved this lakehouse and will definitely be back!

Rustic Tranquility

Beautiful lake front views from huge deck, easy access to water with docks and beachfront. Very comfortable interior. Huge eat in kitchen and nice fire pit. We would give it 4 1/2 stars, but couldn’t see how to do that on the rating! Sporadic or nonexistent internet/Wi-Fi was bothersome for us.

Fishing and disconnecting

The fact that there was very little cell signal was a nice break to the constant connection to all the stressful things in life. The cabin, deck and dock were amazing. Love to come back again.

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your adorable lakeside retreat! We had a wonderful time and the weather was near perfect. There were a couple of quick rainstorms, but even those were enjoyed on the comfortable screened porch. The home was in great condition and the views were just as pictured! A+!!!

Woke up every morning and sat on the porch with our coffee and the lake. AMAZING!! A little sketchy if your pulling a double jet ski trailer, but still worth it! We’ll be back!!

Great getaway

Great views of the lake sitting on the deck and relaxing. Nice house with a view. Plenty of parking for Truck and trailer. Boat ramp is ok but is very tight for a 21ft poontoon and isn't level at all once your trailer enters the water. Would recommend being very experienced if you unload and load your boat there!

Secluded hideaway

The seclusion of the house is awesome. If you are looking for quiet. You will easily find it here. The screen in porch and deck is completely shaded. Perfect for TN sun & heat. Family enjoyed the close dock for swimming and fishing. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are 25-45 minutes away. This wasn’t a concern for us since this wasn’t our first trip to the area. House overall was comfortable for our small family. We will definitely keep this property in our favorites for future trips.

Quiet little gem!!

The Lakehouse is a great little cabin for smaller families. We enjoyed the many different sitting areas - screened in porch in the evenings, shade of the front porch throughout the day, the side porch for sun bathing and the fire pit to roast marshmallows. It was great to have the boat ramp at the cabin. Although, you will want a four wheel drive vehicle, good backing up skills and be experienced loading your boat. Unlike many homes on the lake, the boat dock was easily accessible without walking too far or down too many steps. The location on the lake was wonderful. The quiet cove allowed for easy access to the main "channel", but provided a safe place to kayak and swim near the cabin. Our family created wonderful family memories at this little gem of a cabin and are already speaking of returning again in the future!
