Beautiful views

This cabin was perfect for our family. My husband and I used the main floor master, while our single son had the upstairs and our daughter’s family was downstairs. The game machine in the loft was a hit. Just a note: the driveway is very steep!! Jamie was very responsive and made us feel welcome even from a distance!! The few minor problems we had were quickly addressed. I would definitely stay with her property again!

The cabin was centrally located in the Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area. We loved that is was secluded by still close enough to all the attractions in the area. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us, 6 adults and 1 17 yr old. The drive up can be steep so if your vehicle has trouble with steep hills you may want to rent one that can handle them, especially if it rains. My only small complaint was the rooster in the area that starts crowing between 4 and 5 am and goes all morning. If you're a light sleeper, bring some kind of ear plugs or noise machine.

Gatlinburg Family Vaca

The view of the Smoky Mountains was amazing A+. The back decks face the mountains and are shaded from noon on to sunset. Definitely a great location...only 5.5 miles into town.

Great Family Vacation

We enjoy our stay at the property with plenty of space for our 8 adults and 2 children (ages 2 and 4). The kitchen was well stocked and the house had everything we needed for some fun family time. The only challenge at times was the steep hill leading to the driveway, we had 3 full size SVU's and were able to all park. Beautiful mountain views.

Beautiful cabin

This cabin was awesome! We do an all girls trip every year (cousins and aunts ) to have fun goof off shop and eat out. This cabin was wonderful! We watched movies, LOVED the arcade game upstairs ( took us back to the eighties haha) We were even lucky enough to see snow while we were there! Will definitely return next year!!

Overall a great stay!

The house is adorable and even bigger than the photos show. The dual large master bedrooms were amazing. The amenities were great and loved the games. The driveway is steep! It’s awesome but there’s no way more than 2 cars fit with the tight turn. Also, cleaning was just okay. The windows were pretty dirty but an easy fix and the adorable place settings on the table were covered in dirt. Overall. Great stay and we’d be back.

Wonderful Mountain Experience

The view from the back decks of this log home were breathtaking. The decor was perfect for the Smokies with comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen. There was something for everyone--whether it was watching football games, soaking in the hot tub, enjoying a movie and popcorn, shooting pool or just watching the leaves change color. i definitely recommend this log "cabin" and its owner for your mountain stay.

Great place to stay in the mountains

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Moonstruck Lodge. The kids, in particular, thought it was fantastic. They even said the twins beds were super comfortable, which I've never even heard them say about their own beds. The view is terrific, especially on a clear day. The hot tub was ready and easy to use. The kids loved the arcade. The Vrbo listing was accurate and everything was just as expected. The owners were very responsive throughout the trip.

Clean and roomy

We traveled with small children. This house was perfect with enough separation for the kids to be able to sleep well. The theater room was a big hit for the whole family. If you don’t mind a 10 min drive this is the perfect location to everything you could want to do. Everything was clean and well maintained and owner was very responsive.

Family weekend

Our group of 10 had more than enough room to spread out and enjoy our weekend at the cabin. The place was clean and had everything offered in the listing. The views from the back deck were stunning and we spent a lot of our time out there! Jamie and Dane reached out to make sure everything was good and could not have been more helpful. The location was close enough to be able to go to the strip and Food City is right down the road. What a wonderful weekend!

Great location and amazing views with a side of ants

Views were breathtaking, sunrises were bright and beautiful cresting over the mountains. The moon at night lit up the whole range. Just be careful leaving food containers on the counter, ants like to find it overnight. Not a big problem, just a little inconvenient. I’m a big pool player, pool table was something you’d expect at a rental property. I’d give it 4.5/5 stars. Would return if visiting the area again.

Cozy mountain stay with stunning views

This cabin was beautifully made, and was full of comfortable little touches. The hot tub, pool table, theatre, and Jacuzzi made it feel like a true vacation. It was full of all the cooking amenities we needed. The views were unmatched. We would stay here again in an instant. Beds were VERY comfortable. Did not need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to make it up the mountain which was nice. We stayed in late March. There were a lot of carpenter bees outside (harmless and cute) but the owners had traps and did what they could to minimize. Would suggest not taking showers at the same time to overcome low water pressure, but hardly an inconvenience for all the upsides. Loved it!!!

Wonderful house, great views, helpful owners

My family of five and my in-laws absolutely loved staying at Moonstruck lodge. The house is beautiful, and so well maintained and clean. The pictures give you an idea of the house but in person it is so much better. Lots of room to spread out when needed and come back together for family movie night on the big screen. Lots of cooking supplies, towels, nice linens, etc...Fantastic views with wonderful sunrise photo ops. We stayed for four nights in August 2012, and wish we could stay longer. Dollywood is less than ten minutes away, Gatlinburg is approximately 20 minutes away depending on traffic. The aquarium was very impressive and loved by my children aged 3-9. We spent one morning river tubing, and spent a few days hiking in the smokies. There was so much more for us to do, that we hope to come back soon. The owners were very responsive when booking the rental, and communicated during our stay as well, Thank you for letting us stay in your house.

We stayed 3 nights. On the first night my mother in law slide backwards down the hill, went over the curb and hit the guard rail. My mother fell trying to help and knocked out her front tooth. The hill seems illegally steep and is definitely a hazard. The house layout is a bit bizarre and was not handicapped friendly at all. The showers had low pressure and sometimes would not even turn on which was horrible. I wanted to take a bath but it took about 30 minutes to fill up 4 inches so I gave up. The hot tub lid was very hard to get off and was only accessible through someone's bedroom which was weird and uncomfortable. There was a nail sticking out of the landing on the stairs. It was very dusty and there were con webs. The TV downstairs did not have a Roku hook up as advertised. The downstairs bedroom leaks through the ceiling when it rains and was dripping on my pillow at 1am. Overall a horror and I would not stay again, ever.

Great spot for a guys trip

Visited with 6 total adults for a long weekend trip. The cabin is great. The sound system/theater room are good quality, and the pool table is nice. The only issue we had was that the water pressure throughout the cabin is poor. Could not use the shower if any other faucet or water source were running at the same time.Also worth noting that the driveway is very steep and a bit difficult to get into. No more than 2 vehicles could fit and if your car can’t do well on hills you would be out of luck.
