Please keep in mind that the cabin is in the woods so you may experience some of Mother Nature's “critters or insects”. We do have the cabin treated for them on a regular basis, but it’s not uncommon for them to slip back inside. No reduction of rent, rebate or refund will be issued due to wildlife. DON’T FEED THE BEARS! Bears are active in the area. If you should spot one, NEVER try to feed or get close to one. Feeding bears is not only dangerous to you, but it’s also dangerous for the bears. If bears get used to being fed at picnic areas (on purpose or via improper food storage), they may become aggressive and attack in those areas. If a bear attacks, it will have to be put down, so everyone loses in that scenario. This is a good tip for around the cabin as well. Don’t inadvertently feed bears. Keep all food and trash contained inside or in the outside receptacle. Make sure the outside receptacle is secure at all times. For extra precaution, don't leave food inside your vehicle and keep vehicle and cabin doors locked. NO SMOKING/VAPING: Please Note that smoking/vaping is strictly forbidden inside the cabin. Guests may utilize the porches and outside areas only. Please dispose of cigarette butts properly. Please DO NOT throw them off the deck or on the ground. Any evidence of smoking/vaping inside the cabin will result in a $500 fee. PETS: We love four-legged friends, however, to keep the cabin as clean and allergy-free as possible, we do a deep clean after our fury guests leave. Pets are allowed with a $150 Pet fee for each pet. Any damage caused by your pets will be assessed as an additional fee depending on the damage. Trash: DO NOT throw trash off the deck. Please dispose of all trash properly and keep receptacles closed and locked at all times. All Trash is removed at the end of each reservation. Please do not allow outside containers to overflow due to bear & animal problems. Toilets: Please do NOT flush anything other than toilet paper & natural waste. This includes but not limited to sanitary products, paper towels or wet wipes. Washer & Dryer: Please do not wash dark articles of clothing with the white linens and be sure to empty the lint trap after each dryer use. Fireplace: Is for seasonal use. It is CLOSED APRIL 1-SEPTEMBER 30. Please do NOT rearrange the furniture. Doing so could result in extra cleaning/maintenance fees.
