“Friendly staff, clean rooms, beautiful decor. Nothing was too much trouble! We had a last minute booking and we were welcomed with open arms by the staff. Lots of great advice about the surroundings… lovely breakfast. Large, comfy rooms, great shower, just all wonderful really.”

The most central location you could have in Newport - the bus garage was right next door which took us to all the tourist locations that I would recommend - the needles, shanklin beach, carisbrook castle and the garlic farm. The guesthouse also has an excellent Thai restaurant downstairs, great food, really delicious and great price. Charterhouse is located right next to the main high street stores as well as a large Morrisons. The proprietar was really nice. The place has just……

“The room was clean, with modern/quirky tech features. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs, providing a place to store our luggage after the check out time. The hotel is in a good location for the Redjet passenger ferry and the high street with bars and restaurants. It is also located a few mins walk from the taxi rank and bus stop that has connections to Newport.”

“Friendly staff, checked in at the bar and even though it was busy the bartender was so friendly and showed us straight to the room with no wait. Comfy and well decorated room. Breakfast was great (they can do vegan if you ask and had 0 fuss). ”
