“Unfortunately the room requested was not available as we had our small dog with us so were allocated a dog friendly room which was fine but it only had a 4’6 bed which really is not expected these days. Following the downgrading of the room by the hotel and being advised that the room requested would be cheaper. The new price unfortunately was not honoured despite numerous requests for a refund so overall not the best experience.”

“The room was clean, with modern/quirky tech features. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs, providing a place to store our luggage after the check out time. The hotel is in a good location for the Redjet passenger ferry and the high street with bars and restaurants. It is also located a few mins walk from the taxi rank and bus stop that has connections to Newport.”

“Lovely apartment, with fully equipped kitchen and large, bright and stylish TV lounge. Literally a couple of minutes walk from the West Cowes ferry terminal, with a great choice of bars and restaurants on the doorstep.The apartment is at the rear of the property, so no street noise. If you intend to discover the island using public transport, the bus terminal is only a 5 minute walk away, situated next to the M&S food hall. Super friendly and helpful owner and manager. Hope to stay again.”

“I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel for a two-night getaway, and overall, it was a good and relaxing experience. The hotel's convenient location, excellent service, and serene ambiance made for a memorable stay. However, I did come across a minor issue with mould near the shower area, which slightly dampened my experience. The service at the hotel was exceptional. “Booked this hotel as last minute, I come to the island often to visit my dad so this was first time staying somewhere different. Set up more like a b&b than an actual hotel though. John the owner was lovely showed us to our room, and even made sure I knew the code to get back in through the main door. He made us breakfast each morning we were there too which was nice. Only thing id say, is that there was no tea bags or coffee / cups to go with the kettle in the room so had no use being there.……

“The property was beautiful and basically in the middle of the woods so dead easy for dog walking - also and outside hose which was really handy considering how muddy it was! It was freezing when we arrived but the heating, once I figured it out was effective. Unfortunately there were no logs or kindling for the fire which would have been beautiful. Also, the cues for the pool table were broken but we managed to partially fix one and had a few games with a beer or two - an added bonus! These are……
