"What a gorgeous property. I felt so connected to nature during my stay because this property is built within a mangrove. Tons of shade everywhere when you want to get out of the sun and the cutest little Coatis throughout the resort. I love that this hotel was small enough to have everything easily accessible and there was not a need for golf carts to get around like some other massive resorts. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. They are so hospitable. Special shout out to Omar. He met our family right when we arrived and he was checking in throughout our stay helping with everything from reservations to beach chairs. If you get him, you’re lucky and make sure you take care of him. He works super hard. The hotel has so many activities and a beautiful kids club for the little ones. Unfortunately mine are too old to enjoy but nonetheless he had a great stay. The architecture and property is incredibly beautiful. All the restaurants are very pretty as well. If I had to pick something to complain about it it would be that the drinks can be watered down at the beach, they don’t serve food at the beach, and the Mexican restaurant Cielo was a big miss for us. I would also like to have seen the older kids be allowed in the adults only restaurants, maybe 16 years old and up. The beach was a little rocky in some areas and the water maybe not as blue as I’m used to in Mexico but that might be because of the seaweed season that just ended. We would definitely come back here"

"The check in process was extremely smooth. Cold towels were a nice touch when we arrived. Process was quick and our room was upgraded. Suite was amazing. Spacious, very clean, and loaded with extras. The resort itself is impressive. Starbucks, the restaurants, and especially the staff. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The location couldn’t be better. Close to everything. "

"This resort is conveniently located on the beach in downtown Playa which makes access to 5th Ave restaurants and shops a short walk. The property is beautiful and well maintained with a nice stretch of beach, multiple pools, restaurants and bars on site. The half board option provides breakfast and the option to choose lunch (which you can order on the beach) or dinner which is perfect if you like to explore local restaurants for dinner. The quality of the food and drinks is very good and the staff deserves a shout out for their fantastic service and attention to detail. Ishmael, Armando, Enrique, Manuel and the rest of the staff too many to name will make you feel at home and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. These guys work really hard and let you know that they appreciate you ‘re staying with them . I don’t typically write reviews but have stayed at this resort on many occasions and continue to return. From what we’ve seen it appeals to singles, couples, groups and families. When you experience the view of the crystal blue water while eating breakfast or the sunrise on the beach a few steps from your room you’ll be planning your return trip. "
