The room was very comfortable but the restaurant didn’t have a bar (no cocktails) and the roof top bar wasn’t ever open, no staffing so there weren’t any cocktails available there either. The pool scene was not fun at all and we were looking forward to that.

The hotel was very calm and quiet which was great. The location was perfect, felt like 75 restaurants and shops were within a 5-10 mins walk of the hotel. The beach was also a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Loved the floorplan of the suite. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The only negative we had was that we booked roundtrip airport transportation through the hotel (VM travel services), which arrival was great but they completely forgot to pick us up for departure which caused us to have to rush and pay for a taxi back to the airport. The front desk staff was very helpful considering the situation but the mix-up was very inconvenient.

If you are used to 4 or 5 star luxury, this will not do for you! I thought I could do one night here until I went to my other hotel. It was a reminder that you get what you pay for. The hotel is small of course and the room felt like a very basic motel room. Bed however was comfy but room and vibe was giving Palace Inn or modern day motel 6. Also, they do not serve any form of alcohol drinks. Not even mimosas. Free breakfast was very limited. They made me pay for one more ingredient in my omelet (max free was 2). I read other reviews that said the room was giving a prison vibe which is true. Water for shower was not really that hot either. Walls are paper thin so you hear everything next door. Also, I don’t know how the rating is so high but it’s maybe a 4ish at best due to the comfy bed, service at front desk was good, and somewhat modern decor in lobby. Maria at the front desk was really helpful & friendly. Although this was not my cup of tea, I think compared to other boutique hotels in the area this is one of the better ones. But just know what you’re getting for what you’re paying.

Perfectly located if you want access to the madness of 5th Ave but don't want to be in the heart of it. The staff couldn't be nicer and the rooms were perfect. The breakfast that's included with the stay was simple but delicious. This is the only place I want to stay at for my next trip back to Playa!

Perfect location one block away from 5th Avenue therefore quiet but very close to food, entertainment and shopping. American breakfast was great. Pool deck and close to the beach. Friendly staff.
