"Lovely home & setting. Very peaceful. Lots of nice touches…snacks, popcorn machine, wood for outdoor fire & supplies for s’mores, breakfast foods available, etc. Owner very responsive, polite & easy to work with. Only complaint about the house was it needed a good deep cleaning. I’m sure it’s hard to accomplish this with the few hours they have between check out & check in. We did have issues with the listing on VRBO - when booked (almost a year ago) the listing did say events up to 50 people....

The AC is shut off after each renter so be prepared to arrive to 85 degrees and have to wait for the house to cool down once you turn on at check in if staying during hot weather."

"Historic house which was really cool. But that also means old. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Neighborhood is turning over so lots of upgrading of homes nearby. Walking distance to coffee house and downtown. Really cool little town."

"We were in town visiting friends with family. There were multiple adults and we had a dog. The property is exactly as advertised. It is beautiful with white linens and it was extremely clean. We didn't spend time at the pool because we were visiting with friends, and it was rainy outside, but the pool area looked very nice and the property owner had just recently improved the deck. The only con was that the water didn’t stay hot while showering. There are TV’s in every room. I definitely recommend this place for anyone to stay."
