Amazing Mountain Views - Spectacular Sunrises over the Smoky Mountains!

TOWNSEND SUNRISE DREAM is a truly unique home in the Smoky Mountains, a welcoming place for vacations, weekend getaways, and family reunions. The Private Pavilion, just steps from the house, has a stacked stone wood burning fireplace, large flat screen television, dining table, outdoor grill, comfortable seating for 10 around the fire and nearby large outdoor Hot Tub. Our home is located in Laurel Valley Resort, a gated community in Townsend, TN. considered to be “the peaceful side of the Smokies”. It is an easy drive to all the activities in Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains. Laurel Valley Resort, which is less than a mile from the house, has a golf course, and the Laurel Valley outdoor pool and fitness center may be used by our guests as part of the rental.

The family room and dining room and kitchen have hardwood and flagstone flooring, windows to the vaulted ceiling, a two story stacked stone gas fireplace, large 75" flat screen Smart TV and Blu-Ray player. The dining table seats 12 with additional seating for 8 at the kitchen bar. Gourmet kitchen features granite, stainless appliances, refrigerator w/ice maker, gas cook top, two dishwashers, two ovens, and microwave. The kitchen is well equipped so you will have everything you need to create meals and memories for family and friends! Two washers and dryers make laundry easy!

TOWNSEND SUNRISE DREAM can accommodate a maximum of 10 adults and 6 children.

Every bedroom is unique, furnished with antiques, family heirlooms, and small touches to make the home feel like an English country manor! There is a private covered deck with secluded mountain views for each of the 5 bedrooms. One morning you wake up, there may be a misty fog that had settled in the valley surrounding the home. That is the time to take coffee to your bedroom deck, sit and enjoy the view!

The downstairs game room, also with a flat screen tv, air hockey and full size arcade for 2 players with 60 games, adjoins a bunk room that sleeps 6 children. There is a theater room, with a 10-foot screen, overhead projector, Blu-Ray player, and electric reclining theater seats!

To make packing for the trip easier, we provide 2 Pac-N-Plays with sheets, 2 booster seats with trays, and a high chair.

Whether the day is sunny, or the stars are shining, you can enjoy the outdoor hot tub that seats 7! It has over 40 jets that relieve tension, so you can relax and enjoy the view!

High speed internet, all smart televisions equipped with Roku Streaming along with You Tube TV., will provide entertainment from movies to cartoons, to sports. Guests can also use their own streaming apps from home.

We love families as guests, and have tried to create a home where you can have a special getaway, spending holidays together, or celebrating birthdays! Because we have two other vacation rental homes, and love to go there, we know and value time spent with family and friends away from the business of our everyday lives. We hope, if you choose to be our guests in the Smoky Mountains, it will be a time filled with wonderful memories of laughter, fun, and unforgettable memories!

As you drive into Townsend, you will see the Little River as it runs parallel to Highway 321 through town. The tubing company is only 6 miles from the house! They have family friendly floats with relaxing rapids, scenic views and even a rock jump! Our grandchildren absolutely loved the tubing!

Whether you want to hike the trails, trout fish, tub the river, shop, or see Dollywood, Townsend is convenient to everyone’s idea of a fun vacation.

We hope you choose TOWNSEND SUNRISE DREAM for an unforgettable getaway, and memories of special times together with family and friends!

Mansion in the Mountains
As much as we anticipated the size and variety of accommodations for our family of eighteen, we were overwhelmed by the quality of the architecture and interior design as well as the beautiful antique pieces of furniture. In talking with one of our relatives who asked if my wife and I stayed in the master bedroom, I told her "No, but in this house, ANY ONE of the bedrooms could have served as a master bedroom just about anywhere else." We also appreciated two washers and dryers as well as two dishwashers. Our only regret was only one refrigerator to manage the food for our group; nonetheless, we made things work. Also, the pavilion adjacent to the house was an ideal setting for all meals, and the fireplace provided the means for a S'Mores night. Finally, the house's location in the Townsend area kept us out of the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg crowds, and while we enjoyed attractions in both of those towns, we welcomed our retreat from the tourist milieu. For those who want a stunning mountain retreat away from the hustle and bustle of tourist towns, this house checks all boxes. Everyone in our family thoroughly enjoyed their stay!!!

Great Get Away
This was a great place for our out of town family to gather for a family wedding. Everyone enjoyed relaxing in the great room and the outside patio. We had a fire every night on the covered patio. It rained all weekend so that area was awesome. All rooms had comfortable beds and adjoining bathrooms. Great for 5 couples. It also had everything you would need in the kitchen. We truly enjoyed our visit. Would highly recommend this house.

Even better than the pictures!
Loved the huge bedrooms all with their own bathrooms! Wonderful pavilion option for outdoor eating. Really enjoyed the historical pieces, their descriptions and the touch of some family stories throughout the home. Lovely furnishings yet safe enough to accommodate the kids! Game room was a big hit! We were there for our daughter’s wedding and could have used a bit more closet space to hang wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses in a couple of the bedrooms. But overall exceeded our highest expectations! Would definitely recommend this wonderful mountain getaway!

Wonderful place for a family get together!
Our family of fourteen (8 adults, 5 teens, 1 child) I enjoyed a wonderful week at Townsend Sunrise Dream aka Ebeneezer Lodge in Townsend. We avoided a lot of the crowds and hassle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but we’re able to enjoy the peace and serenity of the mountains. Our families were able to take special day trips that were relatively nearby. The home is as beautiful as pictured, and furnished very nicely. We loved the theater, hot tub, and game room, but our favorite hangout was the outdoor pavilion. The overhead fans in the pavilion and decks made them very comfortable for relaxing and visiting. We enjoyed cooking most of our meals in, and the kitchen was very well furnished. We made lots of great memories here! We would love to return again!

Christmas Family Gathering
The Ebenezer Lodge is a beautiful house for family or friend gatherings. Everything you need in a wonderful location away from the crowds. A short (but curvy!) 20 ish minute drive to the middle of Pigeon forge or Gatlinburg if you want to escape the peace and quiet that this location provides.

Pristine Mountain Top House
The pictures did not do this home justice. Everything was very clean, new and comfortable. Very spacious. Perfect for multiple families. Every bedroom has a comfortable bed, balcony, large TV and large bathroom. By far the nicest place we have stayed in the Smokey Mountains.
