"The only issue was the weather related power outage which did not really allow us to use any of amenities. I am confident it would've been much more fun if we had electricity given the set up/provided amenities. I am not sure if a back up generator is standard/required or not but that was the only issue. "The location was great, the staff at the resort was great! Didn’t like that there’s no parking spot for your car when you wait for the boat to pick you up to take you to the resort. The owner tells you to park on the street where you risk being towed. Didn’t like how we were charged for extra people when we were renting the cabin that fits 10 people!! They’re we’re only 8 of us. She chargers for extra adults if there’s more than 4 adults. You have to pay for a boat taxi to get to the resort. I...

"The lodge itself is good and staff are very warm and friendly. However, the access to/from lodge are terrible, one of only 2 roads was closed due to mudslide, it was horrible and finally we managed to get out from there. Be prepared for very bad gravel road for a pretty long period of time. "

I would highly recommend the Nita Lake Lodge for a stay in Whistler. Summer or winter this is our preferred stay, away from the chaos of the village. Hopefully we'll be back soon. "

"Came in early just to store our luggage after a cruise. Surprised when the desk said we have your room type but it’s on the 3rd floor. We have an elevator okay? You bet! Came in and took a nap. The whole property is nice and flowers decorated the balconies. Definitely a stay again place."
