“The view was absolutely delightful, cute breakfast nook in the room allows for great meals. The kitchette was great, it had many things but short in space for everything. Renos done recently, my only complaint was that the building smelled like mold or mildew. It activated my asthma. We had to leave early partly because of that, the housekeepers were very friendly and helpful but we never met a front staff. The housekeeper checked us in with limited knowledge and I never got a call back for any……

17. Campbell River discovery passage view guest suite

Campbell River

“Eleven steep stairs with a wooden railing that has wood rot. Need to be careful when you step off bottom stair as cement at the bottom is not level. Went to use a blanket but quickly put it back in the closet at covered in long red hair. Glad there were extra soft pillows as regular ones on the bed were high and hard. There was a peek a boo view of the ocean. The view would have been great from a higher level.”

19. Sunset Lodge - Modern Mountain Luxury - Epic Views - Sleeps 6

Comox Valley C (Puntledge-B*

“We had never been to Mount Washington and staying at Sunset Lodge didn't disappoint! In fact, it was exactly what we needed. The building alone is in a semi-private location, very few people around and we needed the downtime. When we walked into Sunset Lodge we were very impressed. The overall cleanliness, higher end quality of the build and everything we needed was right there. It was apparent there was a lot of thought going into creating such a space. We slept well during our stay and it……

“Good overall experience with the cottage. The place was very quiet and away from the busy town center. There were sufficient cooking facilities but there was no washing machines. Two bad things were there was stair case as I had heavy baggages to move. And, another thing was the can opener was broken that made my cooking inconvenient.”

“The property is well maintained, check-in (out) was quick and easy. We enjoyed the many rabbits that gather outside daily; even though they’re wild bunnies, they’re obviously not afraid of people and would come right up to you. They’re so cute and quirky! I believe that our unit had been recently renovated. Even though it was really nice, it wasn’t what I assumed we’d be getting; the photos were completely different! The unit I had booked had a lovely white kitchen with a large island, 4……

“We enjoyed the hot tub, pool, and convenient location. Parking was available, the area was quiet, and there was a restaurant nearby. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the property was a major concern. We spent more than two hours at the beginning of our stay cleaning the floors, counters, bathrooms, and other areas before we felt comfortable settling in. The kitchen utensils were dirty, the barbecue was extremely filthy and appeared not to have been properly maintained for a long time, and we……
