"We spent one night before going on a cruise. Property is convenient to shopping and food. One mile from cruise port and east my to uber from to port. (1 mile) The front desk staff was great with easy check in and also helped with printing new ship boarding passes, since we had a room upgrade on the ship. Room was very clean and had a nice bed. Bathroom was clean, but could use more shower pressure. Overall stay 4.5 stars. Nice breakfast restaurant called Yolks just 1 block away. 😎👍"

Aava Whistler Hotel

Aava Whistler Hotel

8/10 Good
"We had a pleasant stay at Aava Whistler Hotel and really appreciated its excellent location. The hotel is just across the street from the heart of the village, making it incredibly convenient while still being far enough away to avoid most of the village noise. It was also centrally located for our family, with easy walking access to both the playground and the gondola. Upon arriving in our room, we found that the shampoo and body wash dispensers were empty. However, after a quick call to the front desk, the items were promptly delivered, which we appreciated. One thing we noticed was the presence of flies in the lobby, although this seemed to be a common issue throughout Whistler during our visit as we encountered them in several other establishments as well. Our main concern was broken glass in the pool area, which unfortunately resulted in my husband and both of our children cutting their feet. We reported the issue to the hotel staff, who provided bandages and apology. A lighter note from our stay was the bathroom toilet, which was surprisingly powerful and quite loud. It became a running family joke that it sounded like it was "flushing into space," and our children were both fascinated and slightly intimidated by it! Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the convenience of the location. While there were a few issues that could be improved, we had an enjoyable stay and appreciated the service we received."

"Spacious clean suite. Greeted with warm welcome. Room included breakfast, free parking and a bottle of wine. Bottle of wine was not given and when asked about it the front desk said they had issues with it and there was none available. Breakfast was on second floor and decent. Happy hour at Parker rooftop was great with nice deals."
