It was close enough to Golden if we needed anything and the little general store in Parson was also convenient for an emergency item.The cabin was beautiful and well-equipped. “We booked this place after enduring a miserable cold rainy night of tent camping. We asked if we could check in before 4 pm multiple times and received automated messages, not a response to our request. The shack wasn’t ready when we arrived at 4 so we had to wait. Upon entering we were overwhelmed by the smell of mold and mildew, bad enough to trigger a severe allergic reaction that aggravated my autoimmune disease. Floors were not clean, tile was cracked but the worst part was when taking a……

“This was a very comfortable, quiet, and well-furnished unit with wonderful mountain views out the front windows. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and lunches everyday, and the location made it easy to walk to nearby restaurants and stores. Check-in and check-out were smooth and straightforward, and although we didn’t use the pool or hot tub because we were busy with other activities, we’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it.”
