“We stayed in the Annexe , which was finished to a very high standard and had everything you needed. The quality if breakfasts available were superb, whilst the Staff were very friendly and helpful . Reason not a 5*, the location of the Annexe is the ground floor facing directly onto the main road in and out of Aberfeldy. Traffic started most mornings about 6am , tractors, HGV’s, PSV’s . Furthermore the Annexe is directly below the kitchen and restaurant , so the noise of doors and footsteps in……

“The room was clean and tidy, staff were great, location was lovely and the comfort factor was excellent. ”

“A lovely clean, cosy house with great size bedrooms and kitchen! 2 shower rooms and an additional toilet is also great for a big group! An extra Lounge space would be ideal if using at full capacity as it currently only sits 6/7 comfortably. Brilliant garden as well but the drive way is tight for getting cars in and out but free car charging is much appreciated! We would definitely stay again:) ”

“The access is made through a side door entrance. A grey looking corridor leads you to 1st floor flat. Great entrance with comfy corner chair facing a shoe rack. Living room and main bedroom overlook the main square of Aberfeldy. Very pittoresque. Kitchen and Bathroom had showroom effect, clean, functional and practical. Bedrooms and living room were cosy and comfy, more like one had recently lived in it, with its little quirks/period features giving it this countryside charm. Able to stop by……

“From the start of my stay to the finish, everything was wonderful. The room was clean and comfy, including the bed. It sits just steps away from the main road. They answered any questions I had and offered tips on what to do and where to go! This was my third visit to Pitlochry and I already booked with them for my trip back in October!”

“The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs ”

“Dean and Paul were exceptional hosts, and within minutes after our arrival it felt like we were visiting with old friends. It truly was one of the warmest and friendliest environments I have ever experienced at a boutique hotel. Paul’s skills as a chef were amazing, as well! The breakfasts were superb and the lone dinner eaten at the hotel was also memorably delicious. Clean rooms, super staff and a great location for exploring central Scotland, the Birchwood Pitlochry checks all these boxes……
