I was not initially given an upgraded room despite having paid for one at check in. First I was told I was in an upgraded room but wasn’t. Then, I was told there weren’t any more upgraded rooms to put me in. They then called me back after awhile and said they would be moving me to a better room. All this was late at night after a very long drive there. Once I went through the hassle of changing rooms, I called the front desk for the wifi password but was put on hold indefinitely. So, I ended up walking down to the lobby only to find the person at the front desk idle. Basically, I received substandard customer service. I was awoken at 3:00 am by partying neighbors. Room was meh. I won’t be going back.

Place is adorable and quiet, bar scene seemed happening when we walked by. Bunch of restaurant options so close it seemed. And breakfast cafe was delicious.

I love this hotel. I love the style of the rooms, the good coffee and pastries in the lobby, and its convenience to public transportation, great restaurants, parks, and good city walking. It’s both low-key and elegant and I’m always happy when staying here.

I have stayed here in the past but would not recommend staying here again. The staff is abrupt, the hotel is showing its age and they have an amenity fee for access to the 24/7 fitness center, an espresso machine in the room and rentable bikes. None of these "amenities" were used.

The Line is in a great and centrally located location. It's pretty walkable to all DC neighborhoods and has great proximity to Rock Creek Park where you can enjoy a hike or even use it to walk to Georgetown. Coffee shop in lobby was convenient and quality. Room sizes were generous as well as bathroom amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay here. Nice and spacious room with a great shower. The location is perfect for dining and hanging out in Adams Morgan and relatively accessible to the rest of the city. The restaurant and bar are fantastic.

Very funky, fun vibe. Comfortable room. The food ordered from the restaurant was very good, and so was the service: quick, polite, great housekeeping, etc. A few things in my room were dusty. I’m not sure if that’s because the building is older, and so the cleaning team is fighting the dust a lot more, or if the cleaning needs a bit more thoroughness! But all in all: I would come back. It was quiet and restful.
