"We came looking for a camping spot for the solar eclipse. Our site was tucked away at the end of a huge field on a small peninsula with a running river nearby. The camping was amazing, the ground was nice and soft for our tents and we could build the campfire up with an endless supply of firewood. I booked this place for my husband and a friend who were going salmon fishing, and both of them couldn't stop talking about how great the place was. It was clean, it was modern, and the rooms were spacious. The towels were high quality and "amazing" and the service was fantastic. My husband met the owner(s), and said they were as great as the place. A true gem we were lucky to find, and one we will definitely be visiting again soon.

Sixth year fishing the salmon river, I come up from NJ for a few days. This is the best hotel by far I have stayed in very pleased with everything. Will not stay anywhere else when fishing on the salmon river. Great location on the river is a plus also.

I left in such a hurry, that I forgot the food that I shopped for. But Claire the housekeeper kept it in her freezer until I could get back up there and pick it up. I don't think there are many motels that would do that. Most of them just throw anything you leave out.

It was a one night getaway so for that and price this was perfect. It was quiet clean. Its small its like a mom & pop motel no big franchise sweet people. I wouldn't stay longer than a couple days in a single room because its small but for a getaway to casino for a couple it was PERFECT
