Just freshly renovated, this lovely Lakeside Gallery and Guest house is located right along Highway 5 on the way to Waterton National Park and is now ready for you and your family for 250.00 Canadian dollars per night for up to 4 persons and 20.00 per additional person per night. It is situated on a little farm and is right on the shore of a beautiful little lake. It is located just outside Waterton Park . There is so much to do for you and your family right here at The Lakeside Gallery. In our Hitching Post, we have weaving and spinning demonstrations and our guests also have the opportunity to weave their very own rug. Also for your enjoyment we have a farm animal petting tour with bunnies, kitties, goats, ponies and horses. New this year we are offering our "introduction to horses" program where we give rides in our arena. Our trained staff gives kids and adults a fun opportunity to learn a little about horses and then have rides while we lead the horse. We also offer wagon rides at night and paddle boats are there for fun on the little lake. So there really is a lot to do here at the Lakeside Gallery & Guest House. It can be rented by itself or in conjunction with our next door property The Hayloft which accommodates 25. (VRBO 722581) Another wonderful feature is the The Lakeside Gallery and Guest House can sleep up to 12 people with seven beds and a futon. Kitchen is fully furnished with everything you need. Bedding and towels are also provided. Our living room has wonderful seating for your large group as well. There is a nice little deck and a fantastic view of Chief Mountain. We have another development out in our farmer's field for camping spots if you need to park an RV trailer. The perfect group facility for summer fun, eating, boating, camping, hayrides and enjoyment of our farm animals. We would love to have you and your family here.

Girls hiking weekend
Location was perfect for us - close to Waterton. Tons of space in the unit - had pretty much everything we needed. Unit was very clean. Cheryl is super nice and great to chat with. Knows the area well! The unit is right on the highway so was easy to find. Hooking up seasonal satellite tv might be nice - only suggestion we had.

Room for improvement
Spacious and accommodates many people and the beds were comfortable. The ad indicated that the unit had been fully renovated however the only new feature appeared to be the floors and maybe the upstairs bathroom fixtures. Distance from Waterton Village was further than advertised (20 mins not 10). The ad also indicated a high standard of cleanliness however that was not apparent when we arrived. Most surfaces were in need of a deep clean. We were also disappointed to find that there were no smoke detectors or fire extinguishers in the unit and the stove top lacked a hood fan. Some common amenities were not found (no hairdryer) and linens needed a refresh. The use of a bbq was offered however the bbq was visually very old and rusted and looked unhygienic. Overall the unit was not quite what was described but served our basic need.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing! The host was very friendly the entire stay and even offered weaving demonstrations and a tour around the farm. There was also a lake beside the property that we could use to boat in. The location itself is near a grocery store that you could go to to pick up some extra supplies and it is also not too far away from Waterton! Overall, the stay was wonderful, would recommend.

Wonderful rustic cabin
Nice rustic cabin on a ranch in Montana. Very friendly owners. We enjoyed the tour around to see the animals. We really enjoyed learning about weaving and spinning from one of the ladies. She spent lots of time with us and we learned a lot.

The location was wonderful being only a few minutes from Payne lake or Waterton, gorgeous views and the house itself had lots of space for sleeping accomodations as well as a swing for the babies which was nice. The hosts were easy to get ahold of. Was a wonderful stay

Family Fun
2 nights visiting Waterton Lakes, the children loved seeing the animals in the farmyard. Goats, ponies, chickens, cats and rabbits. We weren't there long enough to try the boats on the lake, but they looked fun. Nice and close to Waterton Lakes and great views of Chief Mountain from the deck. Very friendly and responsive hosts who introduced us to fresh saskatoon berries.

There was a LOT of space, which was SUPER! The views were wonderful, location was good. Communication with host was also super! Some things we'd suggest: having a covering for (or sanding down) the bench by the dining table to make it smoother. We'd also like to suggest cleaning up the fire pit area a bit:-pulling weeds, and making it more even. All in all, it was a super stay...I would personally consider coming again!

Weekend Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay, but a couple suggestions would be to have TV with sports channel. Internet service was not good for netflix, etc. A more accurate description of property, it's not a lake, and should mention it is right along the highway, and does not have TV. The hosts were great & very quick to respond. The place was clean, well stocked, really comfy beds.

Good parking. Very helpful friendly on-site hosts. Very comfortable beds. Good BBQ but a little small. Very good water pressure in showers. Fire pit area needs to be trimmed and tidied. Dining table bench needs sanding - two guests got butt slivers. Plenty of comfortable deck chairs but Deck itself seems a little unstable. No smoke detector No Kleenex No Paper towels No Games/cards/dice No Food wrap or tin foil No leftover containers No Salt, only a small amount of pepper No AC - very hot inside. Spiderwebs in the lamps. Laundry left in the washer. Dirty cutlery in the drawers. Knives are extremely dull. Window screens badly in need of repair/patching because SO many flying insects are able to get through.

Extraordinary Mountain View
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lakeside Guest House. This is a great location as it's a quick drive to the Waterton Lakes National Park entrance and about 25 minutes from the US border if you are interested in visiting Glacier National Park. When we arrived, we were greeted by family members and the inhabitants of this working farm. Our kids loved meeting the kittens, goats, rabbits, and horses. The Guest House is very comfortable, and the owners responded promptly to any questions and needs. We had such a good time we're already planning our next trip there.

Great views and sleeps so many! Multi-family or family reunions would be easy here!
We spent a week here when traveling through the Canadian Rockies in June 2022. We flew into Calgary and then drove to Mountain View. This place had so many things to love and was huge! Big table for family dinners, so many beds, comfy living room and a great deck with amazing views! It’s also on a private lake with water views from the kitchen. They also rent campsites behind the home and so the Grandparents joined us in their RV for the adventure. We explored Waterton National Park and Red Rock Canyon. I highly recommend this place for anyone with a big family or wanting a peaceful place to relax after exploring The Canadian Rockies!

This property worked perfectly for a group stay for a Waterton wedding. Had all the space and beds we needed, close to park, cooled off good at night and very comfortable. Even had camping options for other guests to stay!

Great place with awesome views
This place is just 15 minutes outside of Waterton Lakes National Park. It’s an easy and gorgeous drive to the park. Cheryl and her family are very hospitable and accommodating . We chatted with some of her family members and pet their horses and goats. She was quick to reply to our questions and gave us the lay of the land. Such a beautiful area and a view if Chief Mountain from the house. Will definitely be coming back!

Great place to get together!
Lovely property! A lovely drive there from Calgary. Lots of room for people to sleep. The space is highly functional for a big group (lots of couch space all facing inwards) and a long table for eating at. Would recommend for anyone looking to get people together a little bit away from it all.

Fun family reunion spot
The property was clean and well taken care of. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The property managers were easy to communicate with and happy to let us see the animals, use the paddle boats and do hay rides. The kids had a really great time! Its also nice and close to Waterton. Even though the weekend was rainy we still had a really fun time!

Family Farm Fun!
We were pleasantly surprised when we realized this home we rented was on a farm. During our stay we enjoyed hay-rides, peddle boating on the lake, petting baby bunnies and kittens, eating fresh veggies from the garden and my 6 year old learned how to weave on a loom and I learned how to Knit. The owners of this property are lovely, gracious and generous hosts. A truly wonderful family holiday and so many memories!
