“This is an older property that received a makeover/reboot in the last decade. It has plenty of charm, including staff, though it might not seem as modernized as some might prefer. Regardless of all that, there are two major draws here: if you like the cocktail hour or if you happen to be a lap swimmer, this place is a standout. The pool is especially impressive, and attracts swimmers from the area. The scene in the evening was quite lively. The “morning after” scene was a relative……

“We had 2 rooms, and one had a faint smoke smell, same as the entrance and lobby. We had a lot of trouble with the door keys for both rooms, as did the staff that tried to help us. The halls were very warm, and while the AC in the room worked well it made leaving the room uncomfortable, especially when we got locked out a couple of times! Breakfast was good. Unfortunately we came the day they had resurfaced the parking lot which made parking and wheelchair access difficult, but staff was……

“the air conditioning was FREEZING, which is a good thing in the middle of the summer, thank goodness for that. the room needed a bit more attention with a mop, because dusting alone was not enough for those floors, i dared not walk barefoot. parking was ok, however there were many trucks taking up multiple parking spots, one night one inconsiderate pickup driver parked with his trailer on 5 parking spots. the staff was nice”
