“The hotel is located inside the University of Maine campus, which is quiet, safe, and has convenient parking. The rooms seem to be converted from student dormitories, so the layout is different from typical hotels. The bathroom in my room was exceptionally large, almost at a luxury mansion level, and the bed was also big. The room was clean with high ceilings, but there was no desk available for use, which was somewhat inconvenient.”

“The stay at this Motel was absolutely wonderful. Quit area, other a train noise once, the river view was pretty!The room was very clean and very large for our party of 6. We had more then enough room for all of us to sleep. The only thing we found was the pull out bed was not very comfortable. We will be staying here again, this year and next. “The hotel location was convenient to a lot of places. The hotel room was dated but very clean and comfortable. The staff were super nice and welcoming. During our stay there was no hot water in the entire hotel and after reporting it to the front desk we received a partial refund for our stay. Things happen and they were friendly and quick to offer a refund. The room needed some maintenance. The bathroom door was so squeaky that the noise woke everyone else when I had to go in the……

Although the property is a little dated, we had no major issues, just minor inconveniences when trying to charge our phones — but not everyone will have that issue. The tub was nice and deep, water was hot and the pressure was great. The floor was quiet even though it was quite full, and the staff was excellent. Breakfast was a nice addition. The pillows were good, too.”

“The property is old and to be honest, the room reminded me of something you'd see in a bad 1970's cop movie. But to be fair, it was clean and well-kept and they tried to keep it modern, but you can only do so much. The towels were thick and absorbent, not the usual thin scratchy hotel towels. The staff was friendly and offered good ideas for local restaurants. An overall good experience, but probably won't be back.”
