Drawbridge goes up every half hour - include this in your plans. Especially in the evening!
Visit city early or late in day during summer due to heat and humidity.
So easy to walk across. It's only .2 of a mile. It goes up every half hour so be prepared to wait for a few minutes while boats go through the raised bridge.
We stayed on the Island. Pay the $25 buck +- cost for the trolley to the city if you are there 3 days. But, remember it comes back a 4:30 After that Uber/Lyft are good.
