“Not worth the $160 a night. Pros: The property looks relatively new from the outside. Cons: The rooms are poorly insulated. You can hear everyone coming and going. Uncomfortable stay overall. “One doesn't go to Indiana Beach to stay in the hotel room. The most incredibly wonderful things about Alexander's is location. Steps away from the park. Walk and return to the hotel and use multiple entry park passes. Second is the amazing outdoor patio. I researched and know that over $20,000 was spent just in outdoor furniture overlooking Shafer Lake. Opportunities to cook out, corn hole, and water sports and an indoor pool. The room #7 had a full kitchen, very small bathroom, and two double……

“My room was fine but It felt overpriced for the property. Sad area that apparently was hopping at one time. Was very dark/ dingy with a weird couple out front cooking on a small grill. I saw no other people staying at the property.”

“Rm 7 at Alexander landing is great. It was clean with everything you need. It has great outdoor space and a hot tub. October is perfect because we had the pace to ourselves. The only negative was the manager/ cleaning lady. Hot tub was supposed to be open but she rudely told us it wouldn’t be open for another half hour. We were preapproved for a late check out and she rudely told us we couldn’t have a late checkout. Just needs some training on how to kindly apologize when things are not as they……

“Very close to entrance, clean and nice rooms. Would liked instructions on using satellite tv/ remote. ( for kids) and they put chemicals in the pool before check out. So, kids couldn’t swim between 9 am and 11. I feel like they should do that between 11-4 after you check out, and before you can check in. I would have liked to use up some of their energy before we left. But otherwise, a great stay.”
