"The room was old. Not even a vent fan in the bathroom. The bar/restaurant had surprisingly good food and the gentlemen behind the bar was very pleasant and accommodating. On the other hand Ruth was rude, nasty, and just awful. Breakfast was a joke. This is a large hotel that only has a breakfast buffet. The place was filled to capacity and certainly unprepared for this breakfast debacle. The kept running out of food and had 2 self serve waffle makers with a capacity crowd, a joke. Make a pot of oatmeal, it’s easy, instead of packets of instant. The young lady is he with the more interested in making sure you’ve paid and making sure you ate. Pay when you enter or don’t sit down. And the biggest joke is they’ll let you in five minutes before they close and then when they’re ready to close are you grab what you can cause we’re closing the buffet. The police is a free-for-all people in the lobby with coolers bringing their own bottles of liquor and wine which is creating a mess everywhere. I’ve never seen a restaurant where you could bring in food from the outside and leave the mess all over the table until eventually there was nowhere to sit. And then when my son-in-law asked for a check out he was told no, because they were sold out for the next day. However when he went online availability for the next day was wide open . I guess for the price, if that’s your thing, you got what you paid for."

"The maids have to use the elevators so pays to get on a lower floor to avoid long waits in the morning."

"The woman checking us in was less than friendly or informative. Resent the fact that 5.00 is charged for parking at a hotel that is situated out in the middle of nowhere. 1 elevator serving 6 floors..."

"Aging property, some bad smells in part of the corridors, and nothing in the vending machines. The room was pretty good, but bad TV service. It was OK for one night."

"This hotel was very clean and comfortable and did not appear dated as so many hotels do nowadays. There is a restaurant on-site, but for shopping or other needs the hotel seems to be accessed by car alone. It is immediately adjacent to the Penn Turnpike and another major highway but was wonderfully quiet."

"Not a big menu choice for breakfast but what was there was good. My husband liked the bagel choices and the yogurt machine. I had a muffin, banana and boiled egg. But the room was awesome, large and great tvs. CLEAN AND WELL STOCKED."

"Original room we had booked became unavailable due to an issue at the hotel. We were upgraded for free to a suite. The suite was clean. Great breakfast options such as waffles, eggs, Canadian bacon, toast with jelly, whole oranges, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juices, milk, etc. I only had two issues with the suite. First, you had to put one of the key card in the slot by the door to operate the lights in the suite. That can be a possible safety issue if someone tries to follow you for force their way into the room, they can easily snatch your key card. Luckily that did not happen to me and my cousin. Second, the shower head was on the same side as the sliding door to open into the shower. This cause some water to get onto the floor while opening the shower door. Had to use the extra towels to soak up the water. I also was hoping that the pool was open during the weekend mornings as posted on the signs by the pool area. Pool was unexpectedly closed in the mornings for deep cleaning due to heavy use by guests the previous nights."
