“Check in was fast and efficient. The room was clean, although it only had a small window there was a door to the courtyard we could open. The bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The shower was fine and there was a good beverage tray with biscuits. Breakfast was quite chaotic with food not being replenished and tables not being cleared and cleaned. However the cooked breakfast was tasty.”

“No check in information received, when I contacted the host was told ‘it’s not hard it’s left unlocked’ during our stay the host walked past us several times to feed the llamas head down, didn’t even say hello, text to ask how to use the gas fire during our stay and no response, was made to feel very unwelcome. Shame as the shepherds hurt is nice”

“This is a beautiful place in a gorgeous setting. The views are tremendous, it’s quiet, peaceful and very relaxing but only 10 mins from anything you might need. The owners are super helpful and friendly and could not be more accommodating. The hideaway pods as perfect for a couple. Very comfortable double bed, sofa, table and chairs. Lovely two storey cottage with character and loads of information on places to go and things to do. Tons of varied DVDs available. Toilet downstairs and shower room with toilet upstairs. Wifi available but limited range can be problematic for some applications (e.g. streaming). Fab, clean hot tub. Friendly, helpful family run the farm and 2 cottages. ”

The welcome pack was much appreciated and Chris could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. I loved the upside down style and it did not affect the views.
