“We soaked up the sound of the waves, bird song, and even the fighter jets! We sat on the couch together to just talk and watch the sunsets! Perfect location on the island to see the Olympics and jump off either the north or south for little day trips. While enjoying the morning sunshine on the deck, two bald eagles flew into the tall fir right next to me!!! We will return! Thank you, Bruce! P.S. We enjoyed Alexa to control the heating and beach music!”

“Beautiful and peaceful, enjoyed it very much. Only downside is there was a lot of dog hair on the floor, couch, and bed spread from what I am assuming the previous tenants. I didn’t feel comfortable sitting on the couch.”

“We hadn't been to Whidbey Island in years, and missed it. So we went for the weekend for my sweetie's birthday. We took our bikes and one dog. Della's place was terrific! Much more spacious than you'd expect for a studio; we've lived in smaller apartments! Everything we could ever have thought to expect was there, and more! Every hot drink thing imaginable, snacks, light cooking facilities. Great little outdoor patio and fenced area for the dog. Easy walk to the beach, short bike ride to……

Washer and dryer with unscented laundry soap was a nice surprise, along with an airfryer. Appreciated those! Fireplace nice for cold rainy days was nice too. 2 full bathrooms was appreciated.”

A well stocked kitchen for cooking if you decide to do that. The only thing that we missed were blinds in one of the bedrooms. An easy fix! Thank you for an enjoyable stay!!! :)”

“Quaint, quiet, secluded, and peaceful... The perfect place to unplug and enjoy the relaxed pace of "island time". Soaking in the private hot tub under the stars is absolutely amazing! We always travel with our dog, Penny. It's often difficult to find places that accept pets; so, this cabin is a true gem! Lorry is a great host who truly wants you to enjoy your stay. We loved it so much that we booked it again for my birthday. M&B”

“Beach access, otters, eagles and friendly people all around. House is older but fit us well. Plenty of space to fit 6-8 people comfortably. Nice selection of towels and plenty of pillows and blankets. Bring garage bags, foil or parchment paper if you are planning on being at the house and cooking. ”

We got outstanding muffin pastries at The Store and incredible seafood specials at Fidalgo Drive in! Looking forward to escaping again!”

“Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!”
