"This is probably one of the cleanest hotels I've ever been to. The staff and breakfast crew were extremely helpful. The pool was still open in October from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., it just isn't heated. The AC blew cold cold. And I love how they had bottles of lotion, shampoo, conditioner and body wash affixed to the walls and/or shower. Continental breakfast and a pool, 10/ 10 will stay again!"

"My band mates and I have stayed here multiple times when we've come down to record. Its the perfect place to stay. Close to everything you need but still feels like you're out in the country. The host is amazing and it's always a pleasure being here."

"This place is 1000% worth the slightly tricky task of finding it the first time (although the directions were spot on.). So peaceful, so nicely furnished, so much fun rec gear, and a world away minutes from great restaurants and shops. Our grandkids who live nearby loved the path to the river and couldn’t resist getting in fully clothed. And one morning saw two deer running through the woods. Just a unique beautiful place we would gladly stay in again!"

"This was our THIRD visit and we hope to return in the future. Older houses usually have some type of issues and there were a few, but none that halted our fun. The property and house are perfect for our large family, with something to peak everyone's interest. There were board games and TV for inside (it did rain one afternoon), playground area, large swimming pool from 4ft to 7ft deep, a pond (with fish & turtles - caught both) and plenty of yard with a walking path around the pond. The property itself is well maintained with nice landscaping. Morning coffee on the front porch watching squirrels play is very relaxing!!"
