“This is a lovely pub the staff very welcoming and a warm homely atmosphere.
We had an evening meal which was nice, then an absolutely lovely breakfast.
The room itself was ok I didn't sleep too well as the mattress was rock hard and so were the pillows so I woke up with a bad back.
Also there was no shower which was very disappointing I don't like having to take a bath where hundreds of people have been”

“This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience.
I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away.
My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating……

“The food was really good, especially the breakfast but that was the only positive.
The room that I was allocated ( room 6) looked good if dated, with lots of sockets but no USB charging points, it had a huge bed which was too soft for me but would suit others and that’s when it went down hill. There was a noise every 30 seconds or so like the room above me was flushing its toilets. I thought it would eventually stop but no. In the end I asked for a change of room and was asked if I had touched……
