The rooms are huge and well air conditioned. Service was incredible, I have never stayed at a resort that had both poolside and beach service. We didn't have to get up at all! The buffet was mediocre, even for DR. Very small, not too many options, and the food wasn't great. The a la carte were ok, but you are only allowed 2 per stay. The entertainment was fun, the adults only side doesn't have much going on late, and we were told we couldn't access the family side of the resort (even though the site mentioned you could), that would have been an extra $560 for a 5 night trip. Not willing to pay that. Expedia also mentioned a $500 resort credit - but it's not actually a credit and just available to use for a 15% or so discount on extra amenities. So do not book this resort because of that! All in all a great relaxing trip. If you're going to party or people watch this resort is not for you, it was very quiet, which for us was a plus! Variety ofwater sports, excursions and relaxing by the pool or water park, the resort had a balance of activity and tranquility. If we wanted to unwind, the beach itself is pure paradise and never overcrowded and well maintained. The resort offers daily activities, night shows at the theatre, live music, shopping boutiques, gaming rooms and casino. All the entertainment to fulfill all of our needs.
