“Things we liked was the pool and the location to downtown Dubuque. Things we didn’t like were the hard beds, the lack of choices for breakfast, the old school lock system on the doors, the smell of weed in the area of the rooms, the trash cans not emptied and the smell in the stair cases”

“Everything was nice and clean”

“One thing I didn't like was that since the last time we stayed there, they eliminated the coin vending machines that used to be located by the ice machines. Although we usually bring bottled soda along with us on our trips here, it's nice to have an alternative, although fairly expensive. Our only other option this time was to go down to the front desk and and pay $3 for a lousy 12 oz. can of soda, or go to either the bar and order a glass of soda, or go to the casino to get a small paper cup of……

“We went to Grand Harbor Convention Center for a Junior Pool Tournament event. Stay in this hotel for a whole week. Very satisfied as far as I concern. The facility is a little outdated. So do not expect it look like a 4-star hotel. But the rooms are maintain really clean. The breakfast is good too. It is right by the river. So very convenient for a relaxing evening walk. I will definitely stay here again if the event is at the same location next year.”

“I've stayed here a handful of times now when I come into town for business. It used to be really clean and very nice, but over the past few years its gone downhill a little bit. Its still pretty clean, but needs to be updated and is not as nice as it used to be overall.”

“Terrible”

“Clean. Quiet. Secluded location. Allows dogs for a fee. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaints are that they lock the front doors at night so you have to use the fire exit if you want to leave early in the morning or let your dog out to go to relieve themselves. No staff there before 7am. Also the bed was VERY HARD. My husband liked it but a bit hard for my liking. It's an older property but has been nicely renovated inside. We stayed in the regular hotel not the bio-healing side.……
