“Very welcoming inn. The staff was super helpful. Our room was very nice and clean. It was just as represented in the photographs. We had some down time and enjoyed the outdoor fire pit at the end of a ski day and then read for a while in the common space before dinner reservations. The entire place was very warm and comfortable. Plenty of on site parking and easy access to the mountain shuttle and the village center. We loved it! ”

“Staff was friendly. Rooms were immaculate. There was even a wipe on top of the remote to sanitize it! Breakfast was delicious with lots of options and the hours breakfast was available were longer than any other hotel I have stayed at. Check in and check out was easy. Applebees was a 2-minute walk away. A gas station was also very close by to fill up before heading back to the airport. Location was perfect to visit Norwich University!”

“This property was old which wasn't a problem it was quaint but the fern room was comically small, felt like the top half of a barn, like the whole building was probably a barn. The room had ladybugs & flys, the ladybugs didn't bother me but the flys were making horrible buzzing sounds & we couldn't sleep so we had to kill the flys but left the ladybugs alone. Other flys never came back so that was good, perhaps someone left a door open. You could easily hear the rooms nearby like a simple radio……

“The Old Stagecoach Inn is not an ultra modern hotel and not trying to be. Expect nicely appointed old VT charm, a nice central gathering area with a wood burning fire and comfy chairs + games and puzzles. This is for sure - the breakfasts are really truly great. In the evening, walking access to Waterbury restaurants is also a big win. ”

“Butler House speaks of itself: a house with the amazing management of a great butler - the result of the dedication of the owner, Paul and his wife. Paul was so friendly and though he was always busy at the breakfast room, he always checked if we needed help Our room was spacious, clean and tidy and offered everything we need.The kitchen is big and we enjoyed cooking there. I used their washing machine and dryer and detergent and softener were available. Highly recommended for couples……
