“I am shocked that the Inn at the Beach has 9.8 stars. The location was the best feature, close to the beach and walkable to downtown. We arrived to a room filled with black hair all over the bathroom, a cockroach on the floor, and a smell that lasted the whole weekend. We politely told the front desk and they re-cleaned the room but there was still black hair everywhere. We were told the reason for the smell was the sprinklers were on earlier in the day. However, the smell was terrible and……

“Booking the room was easy with no issues. Lady at front desk was pleasant but not super informative. It is an older motel, but a lot better than we anticipated, actually. With a little more effort to maintenance and amenities it would be great. It’s in a wonderful location with a super breakfast cafe next door I highly recommend. They never told us about it…the room is set up condo-style with a small kitchen and living room combined, a surprisingly comfortable bed, and old but adequate bath. The……

“Nice place. Not in a bad area and only a few minutes from the beach. My only issue was some of our pillows were dirty but staff came next day and changed out everything. Would stay again.”

“Check in and out was a breeze. Our room was ready an hour early, The staff was courteous and friendly. We were there on the 4th, so the place was packed. Still not long waits for food and drinks. Our room faced the bay. We could see the fireworks from our room and they were spectacular. We stayed at the villa suites, strongly recommend. We have had several family members stay here and they all rave about it.”

“There was a large group of people with teenagers there that conjugated in the breakfast area. They were extremely loud for quite a while. Just not an experience that I have had after years of staying at the Hampton. It just seemed very out of control with kids running constantly up and down the hallway slamming doors.”

“I stay at the suites (Luxury Condo), which is very comfortable and have more space for us to spend, just like at home, everything seems very good. Good service, only one thing that we are not that happy is the suites building is a bit far away from the main building. And the swimming pool, food court, spa….etc are all in the main building, we need to take the golf cart to the main building, which is a little bit inconvenient for us. Other than that, everything is okay for us. I would……
