"This was a nice stay. Loved the bar by the pool! The opportunity to use hotel beach chairs and umbrella when we went to the beach was GREAT-saved us money on rentals! The only wish I had was for more variety at the complimentary breakfast-no real protein, just lots of breads. "

"Cons (not very many). Finding the main entrance on arrival is a challenge, especially if you are not familiar with the area. You have to turn a block before what the GPS says. It is on a side street. The shower pressure was low, but what a beautiful shower! The adjoining room door on our side kept slamming all hours of the day and night which we think was a wind tunnel effect between the two rooms. That was annoying, but tolerable. On our last night at about 1:30 in the morning, there was a fire alarm that went off and we had to evacuate. A few minutes later, the hotel maître D came out and announced that it was a false alarm and everything was OK-back to bed. About 10 minutes later, the alarm went off again, and then again! We assumed it was a false alarm at that point. An overhead announcement saying that it was not a true alarm would have been nice. We also got to witness someone being taken out in handcuffs. A surprise as it is much more upscale than that! Apparently someone got a little too drunk and may have been roughing up his wife. Pros: We had a king suite that overlooked the courtyard and the pool and the ocean! Exceptional staff and on check in offered us a complimentary glass of bubbly! We didn’t try the more upscale restaurant but sampled their piña coladas (several!) and best I’ve ever had! The more casual restaurant and pool bar were great. Had a wonderful time despite the weather being rainy, cool and windy 2 of our days. Would love to go back!!"

"Beginning the day before we arrived, the staff was so attentive. They accommodated my last minute request for a dinner reservation, and the location for our room. We stayed on the upper level of the Tiki Tower. Room was spacious. Housekeeping great. We would have loved a balcony, but we booked late and only Tiki Tower rooms were available. The motel style entrance was different from what we’re used to, but it worked out fine. Easy access to pool, lobby, Tiki Bar, and beach. Pool area had plenty of chairs, and excellent food/beverage service. Lots of umbrellas for shade too. Music was even great! Beach was lovely, but there was a large pipe running the length of the beach. So you can’t see the water from the beach chairs. You can still walk over the pipe to the shoreline. Beautiful sunset views and dolphins too. We ate at Tiki Bar and Drift - both excellent. The live music at the beach near Tiki Bar was fun too. The shuttle to and from St Armand’s was also super convenient. "

"What a wonderful little hotel !!! The Tiki Bar was a delight. Brian and Tyler we’re fantastic bartenders. The room itself was very cute. Mid-century modern and everything was brand new. It’s the bed was wonderfully comfortable and it was very spacious. We would definitely return."

"First room smelled very musty with a sweet scent on top of it (I assume to mask the odor). Asked to switch rooms. The desk staff were very accommodating and the second room was fine. Furniture, carpet, etc. are in need of refurbishing and there are no amenities of the type that you expect from a Hilton hotel. A problem because the room charge was $345 for one night plus $45 for valet parking (no self parking on the premises). The hotel is very very well situated for walking to many downtown attractions, bars, and restaurants. "
