“Stunning house with amazing complimentary items in your room and self-service breakfast. I unfortunately didn’t receive a check-in code after registering so had to phone the on-call number on arrival. Not sure it was the house’s fault though. Could have been hotels.com. Would stay again.”

“Located close to the centre of Oban and only a short walk uphill from the Main Street, this cosy and attractively furnished guest house is a good choice for visitors to Oban. Friendly owners live on site and have plenty of local knowledge to share.”

“It was what we were expecting which was good. It was simple and clean/tidy. Decor was dated but we did expect this being rated a 3 star anyway. Nice extra of 2 dogs bowls and mat in the room ready for our small dog. Just a shame that dogs aren't allowed in the main hotel to have breakfast so we chose to not have breakfast there, otherwise we would have. ”

“Beautiful guest house. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfy and stylish. Lots of tea and coffee options in the room; mine had a Nespresso machine in it this time. Staff are always so pleasant when they welcome you. This is my second time staying and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Oban. The only negative is parking. While I’ve never had a problem, just be aware that spaces are limited and you may have to park across the road. There’s also the potential to get boxed in which isn’t……

“Great place for overnight stay. Very welcoming host. Just know there is construction on the street and the road closes at certain times at night until October I believe. No breakfast being served but they do have microwave porridge cups. ”

“This place is truly a gem. From the location to the services. There is a common lounge and dining area where you can relax, unwind and cook meals. They provide laundry facilities too. The rooms and bathroom are clean and spacious. ”

“Some resident/or residents used the toaster just after 7am Saturday morning so this was a bit distressing rushing downstairs then back upstairs to help a family member downstairs ( mobility issues) Other than the above room was clean reception lady was lovely cleaners were friendly. Thank you but perhaps a talk to residents about safety while using facilities ”

“Fantastiskt välkomnande på Ashburn House. Rent och snyggt överallt. Skön säng, sköna lakan. Mycket god frukost, för att vara B&B. Och riktigt gott kaffe från kaffemaskin. Värdinnan mycket hjälpsam och service minded. Ett extra plus för den oerhört vackra utsikten från rummet. Kommer gärna tillbaka. ”

“Tolle Lage bei Fort William direkt an der Glenfinnan Eisenbahnstrecke. Man kann den Harry-Potter-Zug zweimal am Tag vorbeifahren sehen. Liebenswürdige Hauswirtin. Einfache Ferienwohnung.”
