“Excellent place, exactly as described! Plenty of space for large groups (we had a group of 19 family members). Positives: location, condition and size of the property, close to beaches, Petoskey, and Mackinaw areas, plenty of bathrooms, SUPERIOR communication with host and immediate resolution of minor issues. Negatives: only ONE full bathroom on lower level for those not in rooms with baths, no rail on porch (difficult and safety issue for those older folks - even though only 3 steps). My……

“Everything was good and as advertised”

“Nice home inside. However, the outside needs some TLC. Lots of geese poop, deck needs cleaning and the dining table was very old with an umbrella that had no stand. Also, the playscape was taken over with lots of weeds. A little landscaping could definitely be beneficial. However, we made the best of it and had an enjoyable time. Make sure you bring camping chairs and water shoes!”

“When we arrived, it was later in the evening. We were excited to be up north and meeting friends, and admittedly we were in a hurry. “Chris & Jessica are so warm & welcoming. The inn is clean and homey. Rooms are comfortable w/nice private bathrooms. The delicious morning breakfast is a great start to your day. We will definitely recommend this inn and stay here again!!”

“The room was super clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly! The hotel has been renovated, and everything felt fresh, clean, and welcoming. I had a great experience and really enjoyed my stay.”

“Historic hotel in a great location. The staff is friendly but sleep walks through the day.”

“Very nice”

“Everything was good until there was no hot water. I went to the gym and was looking forward to a hot shower when I went back to my room and there was no hot water! That killed my morning.”

“Staff was extremely friendly, area around hotel is adorable and the hotel itself is an amazing historical building. Right across the street from the lake. Building could definitely use some maintenance and a decorator that specializes in historical buildings, it has unimaginable potential!”

“Rooms were clean and included all amenities. Great breakfast. Limo service was outstanding, taking you in town, where ever you wanted to go and picking you up! Excellent amenity!”
